Marion Robbins's Portfolio
Welcome to my portfolio
About me...
My name is Marion Robbins and I am a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Environmental Studies at Northeastern University.
Growing up in North Yarmouth, Maine fostered a deep connection to the outdoors that fuels my interest in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building design. I completed my first co-op at Demand Management Institute (DMI) as an Energy Efficiency Engineer, and my second co-op at Direct Expansion Solutions (DXS) as an HVAC Sales Engineer. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, camping, surfing, and making pottery.

At DMI, I worked to assess building energy efficiency by doing a deepdive on building materials, layout, equipment, etc. I also consulted on small business utility incentive applications . At DXS, I worked with mechanical engineers and contractors to design, select, and price VRF air-source heat pump systems. I also honed my Microsoft Visual Basic Application (VBA) coding skills by revamping and debugging a 5000+ line macro for document editing and formatting, and developing my own 2000+ line automation tool to streamline the addition of VRF equipment selection and accessories into internal software.
I am currently looking for full-time employment starting in summer 2027, in sales engineering or renewable energy development.
